Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Churchgate Group (“Churchgate”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on churchgate.com, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. They can be “strictly necessary” to make a site work, or used for other purposes such as measuring how a site is used.
Your consent
Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the site cannot work properly without them. We only use analytics cookies if you choose “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner. If you choose “Reject analytics”, or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set.
You can change your choice at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies we set on your device.
The cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cg-cookie-consent | Churchgate (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask on every visit. | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Protects the site from malicious bots. Contains no personal profile. | Strictly necessary | 30 minutes |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors so we can count visits and see which pages are used. | Analytics (only with consent) | 2 years |
| _ga_11SC5V8SZF | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your session for the statistics above. | Analytics (only with consent) | 2 years |
Videos on this site are played from Vimeo in “do not track” mode, which does not set tracking cookies. Vimeo only loads when you press play, except the muted background video on the home page.
When you start filling in one of our forms, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a quick security check to confirm you are a person, not an automated program. It is strictly necessary to protect the form from spam and does not use tracking cookies.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures page speed without cookies and without identifying you, so it does not need your consent.
Links to other websites, such as our social media pages and our careers portal, are governed by those sites’ own cookie policies.
Managing cookies in your browser
Besides “Cookie settings”, most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
